The Academy Orchestra is our largest musical ensemble. Bringing together pupils from Years 8-14 who play an instrument  - there is a lot of fun, happy noise and great music!

 

The Orchestra performs at the Spring Concert in March and rehearses on Monday afternoons. It is great to see the String, Woodwind, Brass and Percussion instruments join together and it seems to be tradition that longer evening rehearsals also involve a pizza delivery?!
